I picked up a pack of gluten free Gookies cookie dough in the chilled section in Dunnes last week and look at the results. Let me tell you, they taste as good as they look. I’m not actually much of a biscuit person but I wanted to try these. I was really impressed with the quality and taste. As well as this, the  dough is literally idiot proof.

If you haven’t seen the underpants gnomes episode of South Park you won’t get this but basically

Step one: Buy Gookies cookie Dough

Step two: Slice and stick in the oven for 15 mins at 170C

Step three: COOKIES!!

There are a few flavours which I am looking forward to trying as a treat. They cost about a fiver and for that I got two batches of 7 cookies. Perfect if you have been staring longingly at the packs of fresh cookies in the M&S foodhall and need your fix. The pack I bought was in date for about 3 weeks. Also, they’re Irish – which is nice.
